The final version of the computer stand is collapsable into three flat pieces of 3/8" sheet metal that come together to either arc inward or outward depending on the need.  At 39" tall, it is a comfortable height to stand at while browsing online or reading a magazine, but it is also shallow enough to fit into a compact space.

Metal Sculptor, Furniture Maker Extraordinaire

High School Junior Willie Totten designed and built the crackerjax display stand, sign and book rest.

Willie has been working in his dad's shop making everything from christmas ornaments, to outdoor sculptures, to business signs for the past few years.  He has been kind enough to share his enthusiasm and expertise with elementary school classes on a couple of occasions, helping them create outdoor sculptures to sell in order to fund the arts program.  In addition to beautiful sculpture, furniture and other practical art pieces, Willie plays lacrosse, like to row and runs his little sister to gymnastics.

The initial design was abandoned because of weight issues.
